The Top Five Men's Recruiting Classes Of The Early Signing Period

No. 3: Miami

Recruits: No. 5 Thomas Burns, No. 32 Tyrees Moulton, Chauncy Smart (transfer), Davonte Fuller

The Skinny: The U is currently amid a reawakening in NCAA Division I football, moving its way up to the No. 2 team in the country as of the last AP poll -- and they're also currently among the top four selected for the college football playoffs. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TRACK PROGRAM? The Hurricanes are quietly building a force to be reckoned with in due time. The addition of Burns, who posted the No. 2 high school 300m hurdle performance of all-time (35.25) in June at Great Southwest, and Arizona's top sprint recruit, Moulton  (21.3 in the 200m/46.5 guy in the 400m), and the transfer of Smart (10.4 in the 100m/21.7 in the 200m), make this team's sprinting corps one to watch in the near future. It also signals to other recruits in Florida and beyond that Miami is no joke and its investing in its future in track.
