What was your most memorable race?
My most memorable race was the 800m 5A state meet that I won. It was an amazing feeling that all the hard work all year had paid off.
Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
Well I ran varsity track only junior and senior year, but out of those two years it would probably have been Zachary Albright and Matthew Rhorer. Racing against them was always a great race.
What was your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment was breaking my school record in the 800m. Also breaking 2 minutes in the 800m was a big one for me too.
If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
If I could do my running career again is HS I would have done track my freshman year. I also regret not doing XC until my junior year.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
The most difficult obstacles would have to be switching from soccer to running. Before junior year anything over a mile for me was crazy so I had to work hard to get conditioned.
What will you miss the most?
I'll miss my teammates and the memories we made.
What advice you would give to younger athletes?
My advice would be it's never too late to start something you love as long as you take the time to st goals for yourself.
What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
My coach (Jim Camhout)has had a huge impact on my performance. He used to run my event in college and HS so he knew what he was talking about. I listened to what he had to say and I knew I could reach my goals.
What are your college plans?
My college plans are to run track at Southeastern Louisiana University and to major in either International Management or Journalism.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who supported me, especially my coach. Also my friends, family, and girlfriend.
