Southeastern Louisiana pulled in both first places during McNeese State two person three mile relay event on Tuesday.
The Lady Lions\' women\'s duo of Amanda Wallace and Kim Gastinello finished first in the women\'s division with an 18:02.9 clocking and the men\'s team of Sean Allerton and Kurt Scoby placed first in their division with a 14:31.0 effort.
The race was held at the Ward 3 recreation complex on the east side of town.
ULL and host McNeese State were the other two teams in the competition.
Jasmine Collins and Alix Stelly of ULL finished second for the women with an 18:38.2 effort and McNeese\'s top performance came from Krystal Lux and Jessica Pons with a 20:35.4 for sixth place.
Southeastern also had the second best men\'s time, a 14:33.5 posted by Shane Rayners and Alex Ashenbrener while ULL\'s D. J. Hebert and Philip Guidry placed third at 14:39.7.
The lead McNeese duo was comprised of Phil Winfield and Matt Fontenot who finished fourth at 15:04.5.
\"It was a good start to the cross country season for us,\" McNeese coach and meet director Brendon Gilroy said. \"This was the first college race for most of our athletes and I thought that they did good.\"
