I'm asking you to consider all that you've gained from our weekly updates over the years and pledge your financial support.
When I first started this site, I decided not to make it a subscription fee-based site (like many other sporting web sites out there, including some of our fellow milesplit sites such as South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, etc). However, through the years, especially with the $1000 fee to put up the state meet videos - 2013 (which was graciously paid by site contributor Angelle Albright), I decided to ask you to help ensure this site’s future and continued growth by making a voluntary contribution.
Please don’t underestimate the importance of contributing. There are many expenses involved in maintaining an interactive, timely web site such as this one. Your contributions help to pay for expenses such as travel costs, meet fees, equipment, and the future hiring of reporters in the field. But most of all, your donations will help pay for the countless hours invested by our team to provide you with timely reporting and responses to your questions, which at present is understaffed.
Many of you pay $60+ to yearly subscriptions. I want to keep this site free of charge to those who simply can’t afford such expenses. Additionally, I consider many of our viewers to be the future of LA Track - high school students and coaches. I don’t ever want to restrict access to such a valuable audience. That’s why I’ve decided to ask for voluntary contributions.
Why Contribute?
First, and most importantly, there's no better way to show your support and appreciation for the sport then by helping fund the site that takes the time to provide coverage where before we came around there was very little if any. Without your support, I cannot update on a timely manner, but promise that with your support, you will see updates weekly, bi-weekly, and even daily if enough help comes in.

How Much Should I Give?
If you believe that our service is worth about 97¢ a week then please show your support by pledging $50 for a year to Louisiana Milesplit. If you are blessed with really deep pockets, then consider giving more. Of course, any amount is appreciated $1, $5, etc.
