Addyson Hulett, Alden Dupree Win Performer Of The Week!

BENTON'S ADDYSON HULETT HEADS FOR THE LINE LOWERING HER OWN SCHOOL 400m RECORD

Congratulations to Benton's Addyson Hulett and Scotlandville's Alden Dupree. They are this week's MileSplit LA Performer of the Week. Both will advance to be a finalist for MileSplit LA Outdoor Athlete of the Year and make the ballot at the end of the outdoor season. 

Hulett was in a tight battle with David Thibodaux's distance runner Grace French. Both athletes had over a 1,000 votes. Hulett finished with 1,080 votes, 41 more than French.

Dupree had 846 votes in the MileSplit LA Boys Performer of the Week poll, edging Dutchtown's Dagan Mire by 144 votes.

On Wednesday of this week, Hulett broke her own school record in the 400m at the Mansfield Wolverines Invitational with a time of 58.96. Hulett also finished third in the pole vault with a jump of 9-0.

Last week, Dupree had a personal record in three consecutive meets--improving two inches in each meet. That streak ended with a jump of 6-8 at the Carver Classic

This week Dupree is competing in the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston, MA.
