THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls men's and women's cross country teams head to Stephen F. Austin to take part in the 2011 Southland Conference Cross Country Championships beginning Monday.

The women's team heads into competition with two meet wins this year, while the men have multiple top five finishes as well. The women's 6K race will begin at 9 a.m. while the men's 8K race starts at 9:45 a.m.

The Lamar men and SFA women are the returning champions from last year as the Colonels will look to better their fifth place women's finish and 12th place men's finish from a year ago.
