WEST MONROE'S ISAAC LANE WON THE DISTRICT 2-5A CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE 300 HURDLES LAST WEEK
The District 2-5 Championships at West Monroe High School was loaded with talent. In the race video below, you will find a couple of West Monroe Rebels who won District 2-5A titles. Tytan Johnson, who is ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 10 all-time in Louisiana, successfully defended his 2-5A title and looking forward to winning his first Region 1-5A Championship on Wednesday. He will be going up against the man who beat him a year ago--Airline's Jayden Williams.
Isaac Lane also won a district championship for the Rebels. Land won the 300 hurdles with a time of 40.24. Junior Remy Moore was the only other West Monroe Rebel to win an individual event. Moore won the 400 meters with a time of 40.92.
Two West Monroe relay teams won district titles. The 4x200 relay won with a 1:28.67 and the 4x400 won with a time of 3:20.39.
