Track Finishes up at LSU Alumni Invite

 he Ragin' Cajuns track and field team competed well at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational on Saturday getting solid results from their field athletes.

Alexis Malone finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.22. Jasmine Anderson finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.53.

Jenna Picou finished 10th in the 3000 meter steeple chase with a time of 12:29.36.

In field events for the women Kirsten Meche finished seventh in the javelin throw with a distance of 41.22 meters (135-03).

Justin Jones finished eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.88. He also ran a 21.46 in the 200-meter dash for fourth place.

Zach France came in second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:31.67. Louis Stevens came in third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.75.

In the field Jeffrey Vidacovich came in third in the high jump with a height of 2.09 meters (6-10.25). O'Daylon Thibeaux came in second in the triple jump with a distance of 15.66 meters (51-04.50).

Jacob Domingue came in fifth in the shot put with a distance of 16.34 (53-07.35). Garrett Harkless came in sixth in the discus throw with a distance of 50.78 meters (166-07).
