La.'s Top 11 Athletes: No. 11 Dynasty Wilfred

MADISON PREP'S DYNASTY WILFRED COMPETES DURING THE 2025 INDOOR SEASON

Madison Prep's Dynasty Wilfred is not your average high school track and field star. She demonstrated as much during the 2025 indoor season when she won the LHSAA State Indoor Championship in the 800m (2:17.04) and finished second in the 60m (9.10).

During the outdoor season, she found some middle ground in the 300m hurdles, where she was undefeated in five races and won the LHSAA Class 3A state championship in the event with a time of 42.92.

Will she focus on one event during the 2026 indoor season or look to score as many points as she can for her Madison Prep, which also has stars like Makayla Miller, who won her first state championship last year by edging out Wilfred in the 60m hurdles at the LHSAA Division 2 State Indoor Championships?

Wilfred's person best in the 60m hurdles during the 2025 was 8.85 at the LSU High School Qualifier. That performance has Wilfred ranked as the No. 50 returner in the nation and gives her a spot at No. 11 on MileSplit LA's Top 11 heading into the 2026 season which begins in 11 days with the LSU High School Classic
