The Ragin' Cajun track and field team competed in the Jeff Davis Invitational hosted by McNeese State in Lake Charles, La., with good results.
The men had two first-place finishers in the competition and the women had one.
Amanda Roberts scored a first-place finish for the Cajuns as her time of 57.91 in the 400 meter dash.
For the men it was Tyler Guidry in the Shot Put with a first-place throw of 15.37 meters (50-05.25 feet). Also Garrett Harkless picked up a first-place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 17.32 meters (56-10 feet).
The Cajun track and field team will next head to Fayetteville, Ark., to participate in the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 12 and 13.
