Ones to watch:
Boys: Iowa\'s Junior Wade Trahan has on of the fastest times in the state for 3 mile this season 15:52 he recorded last week in Jasper, TX. He is part of the strongest team ever out of Iowa which could end Barbe\'s six year string of Team Victories. Trahan\'s strongest competition could come from teammates Russell Hodge, Brent Lambert, Josh Fullerton. Westlake\'s Darren Regan is the top returnee from last years race. Iowa has never won their own race in the its 8year history.
Girls: Barbe\'s domination of the team race the last three years could continue as they bring back the nucleus of their team won last year. They will be led again by two time all state harrier Jr. Jessica Gurley. She will be challenged by strong group of Sophmores Team mates Amy Guinn and Adrienne Burgoyne could pose a challenge. Iowa has their own Sophmore Jennifer LaValley Who beat all but seven boys at the West Felicana Relay 2weeks ago and broke the course record in Jasper last week. Two more to watch will be DeRidder Freshamn D\'Anna Lambert and Hathaway\'s 8th grader Halie Balnchard.
