St. Joseph's Academy

Catholic High Invitational1What can be said about this performance by St. Joseph's other than "WOW"? SJA once again displays incredible fitness with three runners in the top ten and two runners below 18-minutes! It's easy to guess that the team finished 1st, but surprisingly did not snag the top individual title.
2

Episcopal

Catholic High Invitational

2Episcopal finished 2nd to SJA and had an eerily similar front three runners. Much like them, Episcopal also had two runners break 18-minutes.
3

Ruston

Garmin MileSplit TX Invitational3
4

Mt. Carmel

Catholic High Invitational

4Mt. Carmel still stands as one of the best programs in the state, as Richard and Junius continue to dominate. The team finished 3rd overall.
5

E.D. White

Catholic High Invitational

5The Cardinals continue to impress as they finish 4th overall. The team managed this even with the absence of one of its top runners, Rylee Methvin.
6

C.E. Byrd

Benton High Tiger Tracks6C.E. Byrd took a narrow 2nd place after being edged out of the team title by Benton. This is not a great loss for the yellow jackets, however, due to Byrd's top two athletes not competing.
7

Vandebilt Catholic

Run for a Cure7Vandebilt surprisingly took 2nd to ARCA in Lafayette, though this is most likely due to the team missing out on Logan Hamilton.
8

Dominican

Catholic High Invitational

8Dominican took 5th and featured one of Dominican's best races of the season. These were, by no means, season bests, but they are still very close.
9

St. Thomas Aquinas

Catholic High Invitational

9The Falcons maintain their streak of successful races. We saw some more good times from these runners, several of which were just shy of a personal best. The team secured a 6th-place finish
10

Lafayette High

Run for a Cure

10Lafayette fared well with its 4th-place finish when the lack of Amber Broussard is accounted for. Even with the absence of the program's star runner, this team is still well within the top 30.
11

ARCA

Run for a Cure

21ARCA is back on track after an off-performance from its previous meet. This team showed out and took down other well-ranked teams, not to mention, adding yet another team win to their resume.
12

Academy of Sacred Heart NO

SJA Invitational11
13

Newman

Catholic High Invitational

19Newman was in dominating form this past weekend, placing 7th overall. Not only that, but the entire team had recorded new personal bests. It is clear that the Newman girls are in shape and deserve to quickly climb up the rankings.
14

St. Martin's Episcopal

Catholic High Invitational

12This was, perhaps, St. Martin's best race of the season so far. The team finished 8th and showed plenty of improvement or consistency from its runners.
15

Dutchtown

Catholic High Invitational

20This was a great day for Dutchtown as every single one of its top runners nabbed a new personal record. The team was able to finish the highest it has done this season on the Highland Park venue with a 9th-place finish.
16

Metairie Park Country Day HS

Catholic High Invitational

15Metairie Park ran well. The majority of its runners either had a personal best or something near it and the team was able to place 10th overall.
17

University Lab School

Catholic High Invitational

16University Lab narrowly lost to St. Scholastica and placed 12th. The strange part about this race is that these two teams almost lined up perfectly with one another (30v39, 47v49, 68v65, 77v71, and 91v93). Caroline Cain and Macy McCalip made HUGE strides in terms of season performances and allowed Lab to make this large of a jump.
18

St. Scholastica

Catholic High Invitational

14St. Scholastica may have moved down in the rankings, but that is nothing in relation to their fitness. The team actually performed quite well this past weekend and saw several personal bests and some performances incredibly close to a personal best.
19

Walker

SJA Invitational

17
20

St. Thomas More

Run for a Cure

13It can be hard to gauge just how well or poorly this team raced at this venue. It's clear that this is a slower course, but STM did end up losing to Teurlings Catholic. This is not the same case as other teams like Lafayette High because STM was able to race its full-strength squad. Based on those assumptions alone, it could be said that this team had a rougher day than expected.
21

Cedar Creek

C.E. Byrd October Invitational18
22

Teurlings Catholic

Run for a Cure

25Teurlings had a great day, placing 3rd. Times are not as important at this meet, but rather who did they beat or lose to. Teurlings definitely overcame expectations and delivered an unexpected performance. More will have to be seen from this team to see if it fits a positive trend for the future.
23

Benton

Benton High Tiger Tracks

22Benton took home the gold at its home meet both in terms of team and individual. The team was able to fit three runners within the top ten and score a 3-point victory over a handicapped C.E. Byrd. Not to mention, a HUGE development from Kyla Daux!
24

Parkway High School

Benton High Tiger Tracks

23Parkway took 4th after a well-fought race, while missing two of its top girls. Outside of them, we saw some acceptable and off performances from some of these runners. This does not mean that this team is poor by any means, there are plenty of unknown variables yet to be seen here.
25

Parkview Baptist

Catholic High Invitational

24Parkview Baptist took 13th place and couldn't be more content with plenty of new season and personal bests. Of course, depth is always a concern for this team, since they have yet to run more than five girls this season.
26

Slidell

SJA Invitational

26
27

Mandeville

Catholic High Invitational

27This was, most likely, not the performance that Mandeville wanted. The team performance was dysrhythmic to say the least. The Skippers placed 22nd at this meet alongside some individual performances that most likely should not have happened this late into the season. Now there may be some unknown factors that played into this performance, so there is no scrutiny being had on this team, but this was not an average performance that one would expect from this team.

Zachary

Catholic High Invitational

NRIt goes without saying that this is the best that the Broncos have raced all season. Zachary placed 14th overall and had a plethora of season and personal bests among its team. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues, as it seems like Zachary systematically improves week-by-week.

Just missed: Lafayette High, Hathaway, and St. Michael
