BOYS' WEEKLY TEAM RANKINGS 10/11
Rank | Team | Last Meet | Previous Ranking | Details |
| Catholic High Invitational | 1 | Jesuit races the non-varsity once again and manages to snag another win on the local training grounds.
| Catholic High Invitational FSU Invitational | 2 | Brother Martin unleashed yet another incredible performance, BACK-TO-BACK. The Crusaders traveled to Tallahassee, Florida, placed third among some of the best teams in the state, and also scored an impressive team average of 15:55 for 5k.
| Catholic High Invitational | 3 | Catholic High showed off their fitness with their second-place finish at their own home meet. The Grizzlies boasted three runners under 16-minutes and a 1-5 gap of just 57 seconds. This team is really coming together as the season progresses.
| Benton High Tiger Tracks | 4 | The Bearcats did not race the entirety of its varsity but still managed to win the team title over D'Arbonne Woods.
| Benton High Tiger Tracks | 5 | Parkway also rested their varsity squad and closed out the meet with a 5th-place finish after tying with Loyola College Prep.
| Catholic High Invitational | 7 | Holy Cross continues to be defined by a dominant top three for its varsity squad. The team took 3rd, just barely edging out St. Michael and Zachary.
| Catholic High Invitational | 10 | Zachary is on the rise, as of recent. We have continued to see consistent improvement from this team's top five, and if not improvement, close consistency. The Broncos may not be on a dramatic rise like Brother Martin is, but they are certainly a team to look out for.
| Catholic High Invitational | 11 | What a run for St. Michael. The team took advantage of the deep field and fast race location and achieved some more personal bests. The team finished 4th, just two points away from claiming 3rd.
| Catholic High Invitational | 9 | Mandeville saw more consistent performances and had huge help from Elijah Reeves, who knocked 42 seconds off from his previous season's best. The Skippers took 6th in this loaded field.
| Run for a Cure | 6 | Teurlings dominated this meet, taking both individual and team titles. This course was slower than most other meets we've seen earlier in the season, but still littered with impressive finishes from this team.
| Catholic High Invitational | 8 | We've seen the Knights race better than what was shown this past weekend, but this could be a result of numerous unknown variables that this team must deal with. Episcopal is still in great form.
| Catholic High Invitational | 12 | Parkview Baptist had some give-and-takes from this meet. Some individuals raced very well, while others seemed to fall off from their usual placement. This was not an overall loss for this program, its runners are still performing much better than they were at the beginning of the season. The team took 8th place.
| St. Joseph's Invitational | 13
| ESA Ain't No Shade | 14 | ||
| Catholic High Invitational | 19 | This was an excellent race for the Cardinals, as the team saw numerous season bests, or at least close to it. Owen Tauzin nabs a top-ten finish, once again, making himself a consistent low-stick for his team. E.D. White finished 12th, just one point behind St. Paul's.
| Catholic High Invitational | 21 | St. Paul's featured plenty of new personal bests this past weekend and proved that this team is still on the rise. The Wolverines captured an impressive 11th-place finish, beating E.D. White, but one the large scale, I think this team is just shy of toppling the Cardinals.
| Catholic High Invitational | 16 | The Trojans were missing one of their top runners this weekend but still pulled off some impressive performances. We saw a reappearance of Benjamin Hodson, who had a fantastic performance and helped guide the team to a 10th-place finish.
| 17 | Vandebilt Catholic took 3rd, just behind Barbe by merely one point. However, this was a smaller meet, which switches up how some of the results play out. This course is not as fast when compared to Baton Rouge's Highland Park, so results from this venue will be difficult to gauge when compared to the majority of teams.
| Catholic High Invitational | 22 | Dutchtown had a series of great performances from its top runners. Several personal bests were had and the team took home 9th place.
| Benton High Tiger Tracks | 30 | D'arbonne makes a dominating appearance at the Benton Tiger Tracks. This team has leaped forward in terms of fitness and quickly climbed the ranks after this past performance. The team took a close 2nd behind an incomplete Ruston squad.
| Catholic High Invitational | 15 | Newman was missing some key runners from its routine squad. Despite this the team still finished 14th among some very talented programs.
| Run for a Cure | 18 | STEM Academy didn't necessarily have the best of races. This team tends to be on or off, depending on the day. One weekend the team will perform exceptionally well, while another week, they lose to teams they have beaten prior. This is still a very talented team and they should not be underestimated, this is just an observation of an inconsistency.
| St. Joseph's Invitational | 20
| Catholic High Invitational | 23 | University Lab is still a promising program, but its biggest weakness is its depth. There are some really solid front-runners to this team, but they are having to compensate for the latter half of its top five. Other than that, the team had a relatively good race this weekend, placing 17th.
| Benton High Tiger Tracks | NR | Benton has made some great strides in the past weeks. The team's season has consisted mostly of 5k's, but this week featured their home meet over three miles. The majority of the team saw personal bests and shot some life into this very youthful team. They placed 3rd, barely behind D'Arbonne Woods.
| Catholic High Invitational | 24 | Belle Chasse made an appearance without its top runner, Drake Breland, but this didn't matter because Jace Luckoski set himself apart from the pack and made himself the second member of this team to break 16-minutes this season. Outside of Luckoski, the rest of the team boasted a set of personal bests as well. This is a promising result for Belle Chasse as they finish 15th.
| Catholic High Invitational | 26 | Ponchatoula also had a great showing this weekend, with the best race this team has had this entire season. Personal bests were shared among teammates, as well as a 13th-place team finish.
| Run for a Cure | 25 | Erath took home 4th place, just seven points behind Vandebilt Catholic. Of course, times cannot be compared on this course to other performances throughout the season, but Erath is still one of the best teams in the state, without a doubt.
| Catholic High Invitational | NR | This is one of St. Martin's better races, not as strong as last week's appearance at SJA, but still very promising.
| Run for a Cure | NR | Barbe has definitely earned itself a spot on this list after just missing it for weeks. This past weekend this team toppled Vandebilt Catholic, Erath, and David Thibodaux STEM, all very capable teams, and placed at a stoic 2nd-place finish as a team. |
Just missed: Hahnville, Baton Rouge High, and Lafayette High
