MileSplit sat down with the Desert Vista High School girls on Wednesday to discuss their successful season, which included the Thunder's second straight AIA Division I championship and a Team Nationals Virtual Championship. Notably, since October 2 the program has been undefeated.
On Saturday, three runners from the program -- Lauren Ping, Katie Sigerud and Brooklyn Hanania -- will continue their seasons for one last race at the AAU National Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida, at Apalachee Regional Park.
