The Catholic High Invite two years yielded a great sprint to the finish in the boys race and a strong victory by 15 seconds in the girls race. On a day that will be very similar to this coming Saturday with temperatures in the mid to high 70s and a dry, fast course, the boys race was a burner between Zachary Albright of St. Paul's and Bryce Robinson of Hahnville.
The two tussled the entire 3 miles with Albright taking the narrow victory in 15:06-15:07 fashion. Also of note in the race is current top runners Devyn Keith, Eric Coston, Jeffery Kelley, and Spencer Albright who are all in the current top 10.
In the girls race, Annie Hill took a big victory by almost 100 meters with a 15 second victory over Carly Boyce of SSA. Olivia Murphy finished in the three spot. The future state champion Mia Meydrich was back in fourth.
In the middle school races, several runners who are current athletes in the top 10 rankings can be found littered in the results, so check them out!
