Q: Who do you look up to as an inspiration to your running?

A: Of course, The Alison Ringle.

Q: Up to this point in your running career, what has been your most memorable moment?

A: There have been countless memorable moments with my xc team. It’s hard to pick just one, but since I have to choose. I would say it was when my whole girls team won state. I can still close my eyes and remember it like it was yesterday. Our whole boys team sang “We are the Champions” as we took our trophy.

Q: You are projected to do very well this upcoming year. What do you do in order to stay grounded and focused on achieving your goals?

A: There are always girls out there that are going to be better and girls that are working their tails off to become even greater. I am a competitive person and I absolutely hate settling for second best. I make sure to train and race to my potential.

Q: If you only had one song to listen to before your race, which would it be?

A: I don’t listen to music before races but when Coach Falting is telling us what to do it’s music to my ears :)

Q: What is your favorite workout?

A: The hardest workout you can think of.

Q: It has been reported that you've recently committed to LSU to play soccer. Will you run track after soccer this year, or will you focus on soccer only after XC?

A: I will run track in high school this year. I have more goals reach and more memories to make with my team.

Q: What meets are you looking forward to the most this year?

A: All of them. Every meet is a chance to get better.

Q: What is your pre-meet or pre-race routine that you like to follow?

A: I don’t believe in routines. I believe in doing what needs to be done. Although, on race days, I do like to eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Q: How many days a week do you run?

A: Six

Q: And lastly, what food do you crave most after a hard workout or a race?

A: Every food you can think of. I don’t discriminate.
