Southeastern University at the Azalea City Classic

MOBILE, Ala. – The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Azalea City Cross Country Classic on Saturday. Hosted by South Alabama, the event featured a men's 8k run and a 6k for the women.
 
Harry Wiggins led the way for the men, finishing 12th. The sophomore from Prairieville posted a personal best of 25:54.06 in the 8k run. Joseph LeGrange finished 19th with a time of 26:23.19.

Heather Fitzhenry (26:16) was the top finisher for the Lady Lions, followed Katie Neil (26:17), Jennifer Ernest (29:18), Elise Beier (32:25), and Erin St. Pierre (34:30).
 
The men finished 4th overall, with Joseph Edwards (26:40.48), Leo Moreno (27:11.23), Andrew Brouilliette (27:45.79), Wesley Brown (28:37.22), Tyler Waggenspack(29:34.35), Stephen Cassingham (29:34.35), and Matthew Brouilliette (29:56.12) all finishing in the top 50.  
 
The Lions and Lady Lions return to action on September 21st to compete in the LSU Invitational.
