NATCHITOCHES, La. – Charlotte Everhardt and Jory Billiot paved the way for the Nicholls cross country teams at the NSU Open Monday evening.
In the women's 5K run, Everhardt led the Lady Colonels with a time of 20:57.58, good for a 14th place finish. Eunice Jepkogei followed closely behind in 16th place with a time of 21:08.39
In men's action, Billiot finished in the 25th spot, with a course run of 30:29.73. Thomas Bourne (37:40.83) and Kaygen Jones (38:24.10) followed in 55th and 56th place, respectively. Ben Ngetich covered the course in 45:57.77.
