    We continue our list of top returners with the jumps. Rockledge senior Danielle Phillips is one of the most versatile athletes in the state combining her prowess in the hurdles with her success in the long and triple jump. After finishing runner-up at the 2A state championship the past two years, Phillips comes in with the best time in the state for 2014. She is the only jumper to go over 20 feet on the list, a mark she set at last year's Cape Coast Conference Championships. On the boys side, Olympia's Alex Gomez is also a multi-event standout. The 4A runner-up in 2013, he is the lone returnee to soar over 24 feet.

The hurdles star was named to the U.S. bobsled team Thursday morning as a push athlete. Jones finished second in a team selection race with pilot Jazmine Fenlator on Saturday.
