Crescent City Fall Classic 2011

Held the first Saturday in November, this race has multiple audiences. Serious runners can use this event as a qualifier to earn a prime starting position in the Crescent City Classic. This is the only opportunity to run a qualifying time at the 5Km distance! In addition, the "FALL" Classic encourages participation by area students. Ranging from the 6th grade through college, young runners from throughout the region come for the camaraderie and competition. With age specific prizes for everyone starting at age twelve, and cash grants for those schools with the greatest number of participants, this is always a spirited event and a great introduction to running events for young runners.
