Baton Rouge, La.- The Loyola men’s and women’s cross country teams participated in the LSU Invitational at Highland Road Park on Saturday.
BATON ROUGE - With a golden opportunity to solidify their No. 14 South Central Region ranking, the Nicholls State University women's cross country team did not disappoint on Saturday as the Colonels finished ahead of six of seven regional rivals en route to a second place finish at the LSU Invitational.
BATON ROUGE -- Southeastern Louisiana's Kalphys Kemboi won the LSU Invitational cross country meet Saturday, crossing the finish line less than three hundreths of a second ahead of teammate Henry Rop. Kemboi finished the 8K event with a time of 25:38.71, while Rop came in at 25:38.94.
BATON ROUGE - The Green Wave men's and women's cross country team each posted finishes in the top six of the LSU Invitational Saturday morning in Baton Rouge. Freshman Katherine Crabtree paced the women's squad while Brian Lozes was the top Tulane men's runner for the third straight event.
