Challenging course. 85% completely visible/spectator friendly. 1-mile zig-zag on hillside with some wooded rugged trails, all on school campus. Plenty of room for tents & parking. Cedar Creek, Choudrant, Ruston, West Monroe, Parkway, Airline, Menard, to name a few, annually compete in this meet. The notorious Zig-Zag has produced champions. Home of Cedar Creek Girls (11-time State Champions, 3-time State Runner-Up, 13 straight State Finalist appearances and current 7-in-a-row reigning champions of 1A) and Cedar Creek Boys (4-time State Champions, 2-time State Runner-Up). We always have lots of fun at this meet and we would love for our south louisiana friends to join us this year. This meet is for Elementary, Jr. High, and Varsity boys & girls. Elementary & Jr. High = 1 mile, Varsity = 3 miles.
