Comeaux High School Cross Country would like to invite you to participate in the 9th Annual Tom Nolan Spartan Memorial Meet. This will also be the All Acadiana Qualifiers Meet.
***In order to receive All Acadiana XC Honors you MUST compete in this meet.****
DATE: Saturday, October 21, at Acadiana Park in Lafayette.
Event Schedule:
7:30am -- Check in/Packet Pick Up
8:30am -- Varsity Girls (3 miles)
9:00am -- Varsity Boys (3 miles)
9:30am -- Girl's Junior High (2 miles)
10:00am- Boy's Junior High (2 miles)
10:30am- JV/Open Division Boys and Girls (3 miles)
11:15am- Awards (next to tennis courts)
Entry Requirements:
ALL schools must register their athletes in advance. Registration will be on www.athletic.net. Registration will be online only. No other form of registration will be accepted. Race day registration will not be permitted. Registration will close Friday, October 20 at Noon. No entries will be accepted after the entry deadline. No changes can be made on the day of the meet.
Girls and Boys Varsity races are limited to a maximum of 7 entries each. Additional eligible high school runners may run in the JV/Open Division 3-mile race.
Entry Fee:
An entry fee of $25 per team is required. A maximum of $50.00 is paid for schools with boys and girls. If you do not have enough athletes for a full team your entry fee will be $6.00 per athlete. Please make your check payable to Comeaux High School or OCHS. You may put Cross Country in the Memo Line but please do not make any checks out to Comeaux Cross Country. Please bring your check or cash with you on meet day. Please do not mail a check or try to pay online.
Awards:
Spartan Awards will be presented to the top teams in the Varsity and Junior High Races.
T-shirts will be awarded to the top 20 Varsity and Junior High finishers.
All Acadiana T-shirts will be awarded to the top 10 Varsity Girls and Top 10 Varsity Boys from the Acadiana area.
