Dear Coaches,
2016 St Thomas More Cross Country Invitational
Cross-Country Invite will be held at Acadiana Park in Lafayette, La on Saturday, October 29th, on what we hope to be a great day of racing and one of the more challenging 3-mile courses of the season.
There will be three races: Race 1-boys junior high Race 2 girls junior high, Race 3- girls varsity, Race 4- boys varsity. Unlimited entries in each of the four races, so each school may enter as many runners as they choose in all races however, Only five runners will count for team honors. To compete for team honors, a team must have five runners finish the race. You may run fewer athletes if you do not wish to compete for team honors. There will be no JV boys nor JV girls race. The top 25 finishers in each varsity race will receive a t-shirt as well as the top 25 boys and girls junior high finishers. Team awards will be presented in all divisions of competition for Top 2 Teams!
Schedule:
7:30 a.m. - Registration and packet pick-up
8:15 a.m. - Race 1- boys Jr High 8:35 girls junior high (t-shirt for top 25 boys and girls finishers)
9:00 a.m. - Race 2- girls varsity (t-shirts for top 25 girls finishers)
9:45 a.m. - Race 3- boys varsity (t shirts for top 25 boys finishers)
10:30 a.m. - Trophy presentations (next to tennis courts)
Entry Fee:
$5 per individual runner
$25 for a middle school team / $50 for full boys and girls middle school team
$25 for a high school team / $50 total for full boys and girls school
