Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Friday, October 17 to run in the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama. Competing in a crowded field comprised mostly of NCAA Division I schools, the women’s team finished 30th out of 33 teams. The men’s team did not qualify for a team score because they did not have enough runners compete.

(Clinton, Miss.) The Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Clinton, Mississippi on Friday, October 3 to run the Choctaw Trails at the Watson Ford Invitational. The women's team competed in a 6k race and took home seventh place out of 22 teams while the men’s team finished in ninth place out of 24 teams in their 8k event.

Lake Charles, La - Facing off against some tough competition, the Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s cross country teams ran hard and performed well at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede Invitational Saturday morning. The men’s team ran a four mile race and finished 7th overall while the women’s team raced to an 8th overall finish in their 5k race. Both the men’s and women’s teams were first among non-NCAA Division I teams.

Baton Rouge, La. - The Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s cross country traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, September 20th to compete in the LSU Invitational. Running in separate 5K races, the men’s team took sixth place with an average time of 17:46.98 while the women’s team finished in fifth with an average time of 22:21.87.

METAIRIE, La. – The Loyola men’s and women’s cross country teams pleased the home crowd and their coach on Saturday, as both teams took first place at the Four Points by Sheraton Wolfpack Invitational.

For the women, this marks the third consecutive year they’ve taken the top spot at their home event. The team scored 46 points, 17 points ahead of runner-up Xavier, with an average time of 20:23. The Wolfpack finished with seven runners in the top-25.
