LOGAN, Utah -- Louisiana Tech’s cross country squads competed Saturday morning in the 2007 WAC Championships with the men placing seventh while the women placed ninth.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Junior Joseph Simuchimba highlighted LSU’s efforts at the SEC Championships on Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park, earning all-conference honors in guiding the Tigers to an eighth-place team finish. The Lady Tigers were ninth overall.

Because of this event, City Park authorities have notified us that we will not be allowed access to the City Park Cross Country Course on the morning of October 27. In light of this unforeseen circumstance, we have been forced to move the Brother Martin Invitational to Thursday, October 25 at the City Park Cross Country course. I realize that this may inconvenience some teams already entered or planning to attend, and we apologize for any inconveniences this causes you and your team. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns women’s cross country team competed at the Chile Pepper Festival Saturday. The team finished 32nd.

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Louisiana Tech’s Lady Techster cross country team finished third with 81 points at the Centenary Invitational Monday afternoon at the Lakeside Golf Course just behind Grambling State and Centenary.

Tinette Burger returned to action for McNeese State on Saturday and finished second in the women's division of the Great American Race in Birmingham, AL while the Cowboys placed third as a team.

NATCHITOCHES — Naumy Bor and Chris Pearson, each finishing fourth, were the top Northwestern State runners Friday afternoon while Sam Houston State swept the men’s and women’s team championships at the Northwestern Invitational cross country meet at the Walter Ledet Track and Field Complex.

CLINTON, Miss. -Southeastern Louisiana's Kalphys Kemboi won the individual title to lead the Lions at the Mississippi College Invitational at the Choctaw Trails on Saturday.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - In their first running of the nationally prominent 19th Chile Pepper Festival the Tulane cross country team took 16th place in the 41 team field, as the Green Wave were led by Keriann Langley, Laurie Dalrymple and Rebecca Coady Saturday in the event hosted by the University of Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The ULM cross country team completed its final race weekend before the Sun Belt Conference meet with a fourth place finish by the men at the Northwestern State Invitational on Friday and a 33rd overall finish by the women at the Chile Pepper Invitational on Saturday.

Christ Episcopal School would like to invite you to their Annual  Cross Country Invitational on Thursday, October 11, 2007.  This years meet will be held on Christ Episcopal Cross Country Course on the CES Campus.

Mark Hoey and Amy Guinn claimed first places for McNeese State during the running of the Northwestern State cross country meet on Monday. Hoey won the men's 8K run with a clocking of 26:28.27 and led the Cowboys to the team victory while Guinn took the women's 5K race in 19:51.96.

  Juniors Cory Denstel and Jace Benoit finished second and third respectively at the 2007 Northwestern State Invitational Monday afternoon to lead Tech to a second place finish overall.

NATCHITOCHES – McNeese State’s Amy Guinn and Mark Hoey swept the individual titles while Louisiana-Lafayette’s women and McNeese’s men took home the team championships at the 2007 NSU Demon Cross Country Invitational Monday afternoon at the Demon Hills Golf Course.
