Williamson Resigns Post As Head Coach of Track at Nicholls

THIBODAUX, La. – After seven years at the helm of the Nicholls State University men's and women's track and field and cross country teams, Scott Williamson has resigned as head coach effective immediately.

Since coming to Nicholls from Emporia State, Williamson recruited and coached 61 school record holders, seven Southland Conference champions, ten NCAA postseason qualifiers, one junior All-American, and 130 performances onto the top five all-time lists in school history.

A search to find his replacement will begin immediately.
