NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Nicholls women's cross country team remains ranked in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Rankings, placing 15th in the South Central Region.

Nicholls is one of six Southland teams in the polls this week, and is coming off a 13th place finish in the Alabama Crimson Classic over the weekend.

Both the men's and women's cross country teams will be back in action next week with the start of the championship season in Nacogdoches, Texas for the Southland Conference Championships.
