GSU’s Men and Women Win MVSU Twilight Meet

ITTA BENA, MS –The GSU men’s and women’s track & field team ran the tables, taking home first place in both the men’s and women’s competition at the 2009 MVSU Twilight Meet held Thursday afternoon at Rice-Totten Stadium.
The Lady Tigers pounced their opponents, posting 94 points during the competition. The next closest team was host institution Mississippi Valley with 29 points.
The men’s team also brought home the gold, recording 57 points in the competition.
