Pole vault superstar Armand "Mondo" Duplantis placed seventh overall while competing against the pros at the IAAF Diamond League meet in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Thursday.
The Lafayette (LA) High rising senior vaulted 5.73 meters or 18 feet, 9.59 inches. He also made attempts at 5.81m but missed all three.
Mondo's final mark is off his PR of 19-4.25, but it's still his second-best vault outdoors. Check out the top athletes in the IAAF Lausanne Diamond League men's pole vault below.
