This burgeoning distance talent is slowly entering the national conversation with breakthrough performances during indoor competition. It began Dec. 3 at the Michigan Indoor Track Series meet at Grand Valley State University when Bartlett went 5:02.36 in the 1600m, giving her a US #5 time. She followed two weeks later at the Ted Hayden Holiday Classic on Dec. 17 with a time of 11:01.54 in the 3200m, placing her top 10 nationally in the event. With more to come, Bartlett continues to be the athlete to watch in Wisconsin.
