Chris Hill places second in javelin at Pan Am junior games

McNeese State's Chris Hill finished second in the javelin event at the Pan American junior world championship meet in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday.

Representing the USA, the Cowboy freshman tossed the javelin 235-7 3/4 to place second to Victor Fatecha of Paraguay who had a throw of 248-1.

The junior championship was for athletes 19 years of age and under. Hill holds the McNeese record and the American junior record for the javelin.
