It's the second consecutive win for the Cowboys on the season. McNeese took the team title at the Rice Invitational two weeks ago.

Senior
Ryan Holroyd was the first current Cowboy runner to cross the line as he finished third among the college runners with a time of 19:32.84 and posted an average mile time of 4:53.2.

Nathan Jones was fifth with a time of 19:45.62 followed by sophomore
Oliver James with a sixth place finish at 19:47.22, junior
Nicholas Kiprono was eighth with a 19:51.78, and senior
Brock Moreaux in ninth with a 19:51.89 to round out the scoring for the Cowboys.

Three other Cowboy runners finished in the top 25 led by William Hamilton in 15
th place with a time of 20:06.20,
Enrique Soto in 16
th place at 20:16.17 and
Bradley Traviss in 22

McNeese finished with 31 team points to beat out Louisiana-Lafayette with 66 points, LSU at 73, Tulane 83, Southeastern Louisiana 146, Northwestern State 150 and Southern 225.

On the women's side, McNeese finished fourth with 80 points as freshman
Amity Delaney led the squad with an eighth place finish and a time of 18:05.05 in the 5-kilometer run.

LSU won the team title with 34 points followed by Tulane 54, Louisiana-Lafayette 68, McNeese, Southeastern Louisiana 146, Northwestern State 151 and Southern 194.
